- Caroline and Cis were friends before the became partners (in cream!). They got to know each other at the University of Groningen.
- The first 5 years of working together we lived in different countries, London and Amsterdam. Both great cities so we didn’t mind to have lots of business trips (by train! :-)
Witlof Skincare was founded in 2019 by Caroline van Eeuwijk and Cis Nijenhuis, two female entrepreneurs with a shared passion for creating high-quality, natural skincare products. Witlof Skincare is the result of Caroline’s years-long quest (through her previous eco-luxury shop and spa, C.cosmetics) for a skincare brand that is not only 100% natural, vegan, and free of microplastics but also effective, wonderfully fragrant, beautifully packaged, and affordable – for a healthy, glowing complexion.
Founded by two passionate women, Witlof Skincare is a shining example of female entrepreneurship and empowerment. The founders built the brand from the ground up, driven by a shared vision to create a skincare line that is both high-quality and entirely natural. With a distribution network of more than 800 stores across the Benelux, they have proven that women can lead in the beauty industry with care and purpose.
